What is Prepositions?

Prepositions is a part of speech, which shows the relationship between two things.

Example:
in/into – On, At
Above/Over/Upon
Beside/Besides

In – In is used for a stable condition.
Example:
You are in the room.
There is a water in the glass.
I am in the pool.

Into – When there is motion/activity is going on.
Example:
I am pouring water into the glass.
You are entering into the room.
I am jumping into the pool.

Beside -Beside means just next to.
Example:
There is a factory beside my house.
Jack sit down beside Jenny.
Several boys are standing beside the window.

Besides – Apart from, as well as
Example:
Besides footwear I will buy new clothes.
Besides English I am leaning German.
There is no one in the garden besides John and Eva.
