We at British St. Columbia Academy institute follow the common European Frame Work (CEF). CEF divides Italian in 6 levels, these levels are as below describing what the learner is suppose to do in reading, listening, speaking and writing:

Advanced
:- Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
:- Can deal with most situations likely to arise while traveling in an area where the language is spoken.
:- Can produce simple connected text on topics that are familiar or of personal interest.
:- Can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinion and plans

Proficient
:- Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialization.
:- Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party.
:- Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

International Accrediated Center - CELI Certification
The Certification of Italian Language (CELI) was founded to promote and popularize Italian language and culture worldwide. Italian being used in several parts of the world makes learning the language very important in a global perspective. Since its establishment, CELI has promoted the learning of Italian language amongst non-native speakers across the world and in many countries.

We provide training for CELI (Certificato di Conoscenza della Lingua Italiana) which is a renowned international Italian proficiency exam. The affiliation with CELI certification body confirms our institute as an eligible entity that can conduct International certifications for students who are keen on learning Italian language.
